A night out

Jeff came by today and returned the lawn equipment he borrowed. Was cool. When he was here, my neighbor across the street, Luis, stopped by and asked if I would like to go to see the UM game tonight. I said yea, sure. It would be nice to get out and actually do something for a change. He also asked if Jeff wanted to go. Cool. So, I went and took a shower, and Luis stopped by again and dropped off the ticked and said maybe he'd see us there. Guess we weren't going together. Oh, well...

So, Jeff and I discussed it for a little bit. We decided to go ahead and go. When we got down there, in the heart of Miami, we saw that parking was going to be an absolute nightmare! So, we decided to ditch it. Instead, we drove around Miami Beach instead. We checked out the super-Publix and just drove up the strip - took SR A1A all the way back up towards home. It was a fun trip, and we had a good time. I wish, however, that I had my camera. Wait, I don't have a camera. Nevermind then. At least you can look at the older photos I took back in 1999 when I worked down there. I would have also liked to get some snapshots of some anomalies I have seen around, such as road signs with "backwards" fonts and what not... Ah, well... Also, today the roommate is officially moved out. He has taken the last of his stuff, and dropped off his key. I wonder how much longer I'm going to be able to stay here myself, the way things have been going lately... We'll see. I'm pretty optimistic, as I should hear something from the jobhunt on Monday.

Orange Bowl = Only Place where selling parking out of your front door makes you more money than your shithole house is worth.
